“The requirements for functionality, as well as for perfect aesthetics are increasingly high. In order to meet these requirements, manufacturers are constantly faced with the challenge of making materials that meet the needs of the most experienced ceramists, giving them a variety of design possibilities, but which will also help the beginner technicians to accumulate the experience. necessary in the field of restorations. Thus, the IPS d.SIGN range had the highest priority during the development phase, in order to offer customers high quality ceramic that is easy to handle.
Due to the well designed basic assortments, as well as the additional assortments, the beginners and specialists have at their disposal all the materials necessary to restore the lost structure of the tooth, realizing aesthetic restorations of very good quality capable of imitating the natural tooth. The materials in the IPS d.Sign range can be used in all basic restorations, but also in sophisticated restorations. Thus all the client’s requirements are completely fulfilled.
With the materials in this range the aesthetic restorations of very good quality are almost impossible to distinguish from the natural tooth being easily achieved through an efficient stratification of the material.
In addition, experienced ceramists have a comprehensive range of additional materials available.
The shades are based on the color guides Chromascop and AD.
Ivoclar Vivadent offers a comprehensive treatment system consisting of alloys, facade ceramics and cementation systems.
The treatment system was developed with the objective of coordinating all the materials together to obtain optimal results. IPS d.SIGN ceramics based on fluoroapatite and leucite is an innovative ceramic material that offers new processing and application. This pottery was designed using nature as a standard and the most important properties of the natural tooth as models. The most important inorganic component of the natural tooth are apatite crystals, crystals that include hydroxyl and carbonate groups. In addition to these two elements, IPS d.SIGN fluorescent and glazed glass ceramic also contains ionofluor, which gives the material a very high chemical resistance. All components offer exceptional optical properties – brightness, much improved color stability and natural fluorescence. At the same time the range offers excellent polishing properties and low abrasion, the materials demonstrate amazing stability, and can be burned at temperatures below 900 ° C.
Users can choose from six color gradations. Starting with Effect 1, a material that demonstrates natural opalescent properties in conjunction with high translucency, the value gradually increases from Effect 2 to Effect 5. In contrast, the purple material decreases in value in the incisal area.
