“IPS e.max Ceram is a ceramic for stratification used throughout the IPS e.max system. The materials offer aesthetic results of exceptional quality, a natural light scattering and a balanced relationship between brightness and color.
In the IPS e.max system, ceramic for faceting is the key to obtaining superior aesthetic results, both on lithium bisilicates and on zirconium oxide. The advantages are a perfect color match and the use of a unique, universal diagram. Moreover, all IPS e.max faceted restorations have shown the same clinical behaviors as wear and shine.
The IPS e.max ceramic is available in Chromascop and AD color keys, as well as in the four Bleach BL shades. The range is complemented by the IPS e.max Ceram Gingiva colors, shades that can be used in gingival reproductions for complete ceramic restorations. Also, Ceram Gingiva can be used with implantological superstructures.
For IPS e.max Ceram, Material Shade Guides are an integral part of the product concept. To prevent contamination in the oral cavity, the individual tabs and color key are autoclavable. For a better representation of the light refraction, the dentin color sheets were given an anatomical shape and a surface structure. All other shades of color have a slight wedge shape, to better illustrate the translucency of the individual materials. To facilitate the distinction between color keys (eg: IPS d.SIGN, IPS InLine, SR Adoro), the stem and supports of the color key IPS e.max Ceram is light gray.
