“IPS e.max Press materials are made of lithium disilicate glass ceramic and are recommended in pressing techniques.
These ingots offer excellent fastening, shape and functionality combined with a force of approximately 400 MPa. The materials are offered in four levels of translucency and two sizes. IPS PressVEST and IPS PressVEST Speed materials are available for processing with IPS e.max Press.
HT ingots are recommended for completely refurbished, relatively non-invasive restorations, such as inlay, onlay or facades. The restorations can be customized with pigmentation materials.
LT ingots are generally used for the manufacture of partial crowns and crowns, a superior aesthetic can be obtained by using the cut-back technique.
MO ingots are used to make sub-structures for vital or slightly discolored teeth, creating the ideal base for natural restorations supplemented with layering techniques.
HO ingots mask dark backgrounds to achieve superior aesthetic results, especially in cases where the structure of the prepared tooth is discolored or when titanium supports are used.
Due to their opacity, the ingots in shades MO 0 – MO 4 are ideal for making frames on vital teeth or on slightly discolored preparations. The sinks are colored according to a specific group of shades.
